Like many women, after having children I was no longer happy with my body. I lacked energy and felt like I was in a haze most days. I knew I needed to change my eating habits and do more exercise but I also knew it was something I wasn't going to achieve on my own, so I turned to the help of Natalie. Natalie was the kick up the backside I needed and the best decision I've made for myself since having kids. I hated the idea of going to a gym, so Natalie's private set-up was an ideal choice. She's located in a quiet neighbourhood and I felt very comfortable working out in peaceful surroundings.

The first thing I found with Natalie was that it's obvious she's passionate about what she does. She clearly knows her stuff and is more than happy to go that extra mile to help you achieve your goals. Some days I didn't feel like doing my sessions, but having Natalie's support and frequent contact, she kept me motivated, focused and helped me to stick to my goals - all of which I achieved, something which I know wouldn't have happened had I gone it alone.

Her knowledge and advice on nutrition has been a huge help. Not only am I eating better, but my husband and two boys are also realising the benefits of better food choices. Natalie has truly changed the way in how I view food. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Natalie. She has a very professional personality and is passionate about seeing you succeed. I am in my mid-sixties and I was sceptical that a ‘super fit, trim, young trainer’ would be able to overcome my laziness, short attention span, ‘know it all’ attitude, along with the inability to commit time, energy or attention to my well-being. So when I initially signed on with Natalie it was with mixed feelings.

I knew that over the previous 8 years, since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, my mobility, flexibility and muscle strength had seriously decreased. However, Natalie was not only thorough and supportive but also calming motivating and showed patience persistence and empathy through our sessions.

The results – I had 25% more flexibility and mobility than when I was first assessed. I am able to trust my joints when stepping out on low heels or rough terrain. My raised awareness of the ingrained bad habits that are holding me back is now forefront of my mind.

Before I found Natalie, I was at the point where I had lost all self-motivation to exercise and always came up with the excuse that I was too busy being a mum to 3 young kids and running a new business.  I knew I needed to find someone to give me that motivation and so I started going to Natalie’s personal training sessions twice a week.  Being committed to Natalie made me have to fit exercise and time for myself into my life.  Her guidance on diet also helped me change the way I was eating for the better in an achievable and long-term way.  I really enjoyed my 8 weeks of sessions and found a huge improvement in my physical fitness and strength as well as weight loss, more energy and overall wellbeing. 

I then moved into the group classes Natalie runs and love them as well.  It’s great to workout alongside others and to bond with other mum’s in the group.  I like the fact that Natalie always keeps pushing you so that you get better and achieve your goals but in a way that is friendly and fun.  I look forward to going along each time and afterwards, I feel sore but great!  I would absolutely recommend Natalie as a trainer to anyone wanting to achieve their health and fitness goals.
